Here's a sample of Decoding Mimo...

"...Once inside the crowed hall, Mimo stopped at the water fountain and took a long drink. He straightened up, looked around, then called his dad with shaking fingers. "We see you, sweetie," said the voice on the other end. Just walk slowly to the auditorium, and tell that plain clothes skeleton that's trailing you to keep back."
Mimo cringed. Did these people know everything? He turned and waved Benny back. Benny spun and headed the other direction. Mimo prayed the the police didn't come inside. He didn't know how dangerous the people really where, but he was pretty sure they were armed.
As Mim made is way down the crowded hall, he tried to think of a diversion. What would his dad do? the guy was a genius.
He hadn't thought of anything by the time he reached the heavy wooden auditorium doors. There was a handwritten sign that said, "Lecture with Dr. James Martin canceled." Mimo's throat was dry and his palms wet as he reached for the handle. The big door swung open on its own.
"Glad you could join us, Mimo," said a liquidy female voice in the darkness, "I'm Evita."
A spotlight came up suddenly on center stage. In the middle of the light was his dad. He was just standing there, with on hand over his eyes, scanning the dark, empty auditorium. Mimo'd been in plays; he knew how hard it was to see anything with the stage lights blinding you. "mimo?"
Evita guided him down the aisle.
"I'm here, Dad. Did they hurt you?"
"Just do what they tell you, Son. It'll be alright."
Mimo's all too familiar text alert went off in his pocket. He jumped, and Evita laughed. "How fitting!"
His alert was Darth Vader's Imperial March.
She led him up onto the stage and into the spotlight, planting herself between Mimo and his dad. Two dangly black spider-things hum from her ears. Several shadows emerged from the stage curtains. Evita held out her hand. "Let's have the code."
"The... code?" Mimo racked his brain for a plan.
Hand her the drive, ya little punk."
Mimo recognized the voice. Shades was one of the shadows. And he didn't sound happy.
"Oh," Mimo said casually. "Now where did I put it?" His jeans had a jillion pockets, and he took his time putting his hand into each one. "I know it's somewhere..." He palmed the USB drive and moved it into the pocket with G.L.A.N.C.E.
Evita stepped in front of Beady and cut him off. "Back off, Rigaletto. I;m handling this." Then she gave Mimo a look that froze is blood. She held out her hand. "Let's have it."
"Better get his phone from him, while you're at it." Shades said.
Mimo pulled the drive out of GLANCE, then pulled the cell from his pocket. "It's not a cell, it's my game system."
Beady looked over Evita's shoulder. "Don't look like any phone I've ever seen."
Evita the Evil wiggled her fingers. "Now. Give it to me now."
"Really, it's just a game."
Mimo touched the screen twice and the retro 8-bit graphics and sounds flashed and beeped repeatedly as the game popped up. "See?" He held GLANCE up to her face and click her picture.
Evita turned into a rabid cat. She lunged for him..."
